Building a brand system defined by structure, authority and precision

Project Overview

Project Overview

Axiom Stratum is an investment firm that structures, legally secures and manages investments connecting qualified capital with emerging markets; the identity and site launched in 2026. Wecomeet created the visual identity and website for Axiom Stratum, building a brand system defined by structure, authority and precision.
The project brings together institutional confidence and a distinctive cultural foundation. Inspired by references such as McKinsey, Blackstone, KKR and Ares Management, the direction adopts the codes of high-level advisory and investment environments: restraint, hierarchy, clarity and control.
At the same time, the identity introduces a warmer, more grounded dimension through an earthy colour palette inspired by African roots. The result is a brand and digital experience that feels established, analytical and premium, while remaining ownable and human.

Challenges & Objectives

Challenges & Objectives

Axiom Stratum needed a visual identity and website capable of communicating credibility from the first interaction.
The challenge was to create a brand system that could feel institutional without becoming generic. It had to express confidence, structure and professionalism, while introducing a distinctive visual signature that would make the brand immediately recognisable.
The website also needed to move beyond a conventional corporate layout. The goal was to create a more editorial, vertical and typographic experience — one that could present the brand with authority while guiding users through the content with clarity.

Scope
Scope

We developed a complete visual and digital system, connecting the logo, monogram, colour palette and website interface into one coherent language. The identity was built around the idea of strata: layers, depth, structure and analysis. This concept influenced both the graphic details of the logo system and the architecture of the website. From the brand mark to the homepage layout, every element was designed to feel precise, grounded and intentional.

Visual Identity

Visual Identity

The visual identity is based on a refined typographic lockup and a distinctive monogram system.
The main logotype uses the word AXIOM as the primary anchor, supported by a horizontal line and the word STRATUM underneath. This creates a strong visual hierarchy and gives the logo a sense of stability, balance and control.
The spacing, alignment and contrast between the two parts of the name create a mark that feels institutional, premium and highly structured.
The identity works in both light and dark environments, allowing the brand to remain consistent across digital, editorial and corporate applications.

Monogram System

Monogram System

The monogram was designed as a compact signature for the brand.
The notched frame, vertical AS bar and horizontal anchoring line create a coherent system that connects directly to the main logo. The notch breaks the rigidity of the frame and introduces a distinctive graphic gesture.
This cut evokes the idea of a geological section — a stratum, a layer, a precise extraction. It gives the symbol depth without becoming illustrative.
The monogram becomes more than a reduced logo. It acts as a visual anchor, a signature and a repeatable graphic device across the identity system.

Typography
Typography

Cormorant Garamond carries the headlines — a serif with enough contrast to feel institutional at 72px. Inter does the reading: body copy, the services grid, the metrics.

Colour Palette
Colour Palette

An earthy palette grounds the institutional structure in warmth: ebony and burnt earth for authority and depth, copper as the accent, sand, ivory and stone for space and light. Inspired by African roots, it is the counterweight that keeps the brand human.

Website Concept
Website Concept

The website was designed around a mono-column editorial architecture.
The homepage opens with a massive typographic hero using a 72px outlined headline. This creates an immediate sense of scale and authority, setting a confident tone from the first screen.
A keyword ticker introduces rhythm and movement, highlighting strategic terms and reinforcing the brand’s positioning. The page then unfolds vertically, with a journalistic flow that guides users through the narrative step by step.
A full-frame image creates a moment of visual immersion, while the services section is organised into a precise three-column grid: number, content and technical details.
The homepage concludes with XXL metrics on a black background, creating a strong moment of contrast and reinforcing credibility through scale.

UX Strategy
UX Strategy

The UX strategy focused on clarity, hierarchy and controlled progression.
Instead of treating the homepage as a series of disconnected content blocks, we structured it as a continuous editorial narrative. Each section has a clear role: establish authority, introduce key themes, create immersion, explain the services and reinforce trust.
The mono-column structure keeps the experience focused. The vertical rhythm makes the content feel intentional and easy to follow, while the hierarchy helps users move naturally from first impression to deeper understanding.
This creates a website experience that feels both strategic and intuitive.

UI Design
UI Design

The UI system is minimal, typographic and highly structured.
Large headlines, generous spacing and strict alignment create a sense of precision and confidence. The outlined hero typography gives the homepage a distinctive visual signature, while the ticker adds movement without disrupting the overall restraint of the interface.
The services grid introduces technical clarity. By separating information into number, content and technical details, the design allows users to scan the offer quickly while still accessing depth.
The black metrics section creates a powerful contrast, transforming key numbers into a memorable brand moment.

About Page
About Page

The about page extends the editorial narrative into the story of the firm itself. Layered sections — echoing the idea of strata — introduce the philosophy, the method and the people behind it, with typography carrying the authority that imagery would normally provide. The vertical rhythm stays consistent with the homepage, so the brand voice never breaks.

Contact Page
Contact Page

The contact page strips the system down to its essentials: a single column, a direct headline and a form reduced to only what matters. The restraint of the layout is deliberate — it reinforces the brand’s core promise of precision, clarity and control right up to the moment of first contact.
